Designs Cultivated

Designs Cultivated grew out of my desire to use the web and print to help small businesses, individuals and non-profits communicate their ideas and connect with people. I love the creative process and working with people to create a product that will meet their needs

I have experience with all aspects of web design – both front and backend development using HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript. I have managed email marketing campaigns, created online donation forms, managed CRM databases, SEO/SEM strategies, Google Analytics, and created e-commerce sites.

Growing up in Providence, RI, I was surrounded by art in many forms. I spent my time as an undergraduate at Brown University, where I earned my B.A. in Visual Art, creating works in painting, sculpture, and drawing. Since graduating, I have worn many hats from working as a teacher of environmental education, art, special education, and literacy, a web designer, entrepreneur, and a mother and homemaker. The creative process is in everything I do. A bit of a jack-of-all trades, I love to create in many forms – including garden designs, fiber arts products, jewelry, curriculum, and digital assets for websites.
